If you decide on going to a breakers yard, you will be able to bargain for the price a bit, but always keep in mind that you should be respectful and polite. When shopping online, be careful since the part in the picture might not be the same one that you are buying.   1. Make sure that you know the exact part that your car needs – before buying the element you need, you should know everything about it, including the VIN or the identification number. If the part you are looking for is small, you can bring the old one with you when you go to the store, this will allow you to be sure that you are buying exactly what you need.
