Tesla Model S Price Specs

You can read several more articles about Tesla and its inventions on our blog, but we forgot one model to present. Model S is the most affordable all-electric vehicle produced by Tesla. It offers great performance for that price and if you are planning to buy it, it won’t let you down. Electric cars are still neglected in the car industry, but thanks to companies such as Tesla they are gaining more and more popularity. Tesla Model S was released several years ago and since then it has become one of the most popular cars manufactured by Tesla.

Tesla Model S Info

It is not a secret that Tesla doesn’t make the profit (yet!), but Elon Musk hopes the company can be in black by the beginning of the next decade. He always dreams big and Tesla Model S has passed a long way since it’s been released. It is quite similar to several vehicles manufactured by Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, but the main difference is hidden under the hood.

Powertrain

Tesla Model S is coming in several different trims. Two of them, 85D and P85D are coming with two propellers under the bonnet. They will even be equipped with the water-cooled system and lithium-ion battery packs. On the other hand, there is 85 trim which has either one or two motors. It comes with an output of 380 HP which is staggering considering this is an all-electric vehicle. Acceleration is also outstanding since this model goes from 0-60 mph in just 5.4 seconds. Mile range is estimated at 270 miles.

However, this is not a top model. Tesla Model S 60 is neither a top model, but it delivers the goods. According to the official website, its motor is able to produce 380 horsepower but has significantly lower mile range. 208 miles is great but Model S 85 is much better in this area. Finally, P85D is the fastest in the family. It goes from 0-60 mph in slightly under 4 seconds. Mile range stands at 253 miles which are far better than some other trims. Regardless of the trim level Model S is just a perfect choice. Fast, reliable and green. What else do you need?

Design

You need a convenience and good design to have a perfect vehicle. It’s always hard to discuss design since tastes are different, but we are sure the majority of you likes how Tesla Model S is designed. Everything that you’ll find in a regular gasoline car you will also find in this one. LED technology is used in lamps and it’s equipped with a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel. Seats are wrapped in cloth and vinyl and they are incredibly comfortable. Other important features are a Bluetooth connection and dual-zone climate control.

Wheelbase is 19-inch large and that’s probably the best feature of Tesla Model S in terms of design. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with Falcon Doors as some other cars manufactured by this automaker. Nevertheless, we hope these doors are going to be used in future Tesla models. They are just great to work of art, unique, innovative and helpful.

Price

Mile range of the Tesla Model S is just great and it comes with plenty of advantages. However, you must be aware of the fact that everything has its pros and cons and so does this car. Probably the biggest flaw of the car is the price. Although Musk is taking an extra mile in order to deliver inexpensive cars, Model S can’t be considered as cheap.

Tesla Model S Features 810x294

With the price of $70,000 is among the most affordable electric vehicles, but generally speaking, that is quite a huge amount of money. However, other models cost around average and we’re sure this automaker is on a good way to produce electric vehicles offered at a standard price.
